Amanda and I just put together a video to show what’s going

And are a few photos of Adrian’s tenor mandola; it’s a couple of steps ahead of his octave commission.
I've just carved my signature pointed “volutes” on the back of
the heads of both instruments. Although the shape is to an extent ornamental,
the volute does help to strengthen the neck/head joint; particularly important with
the skinny necks of the mandolin family.
