Do digital cameras wear out?
Do digital cameras wear out? I don’t know, but we bought a new one and hey-presto!
Yes they can ( sort of) If you look at second han high end digital camera sales description you sometimes find the number of shots taken with the camera and somewhere in the spec for the camera is a maximum shot value. I think it is to do with the electronic life of the CCD and the value given is guide only of the use before the CCD becomes too electronically noisy thus producing poorer images. Just like cell phones and computers, everything being equal, newer cameras of course deliver better images.
